Kristine,
It blew my mind when i read your blog posts for Cora and different posts about her when you learned her name means 'heart',just like yourself,im not a religous person and i dont consider myself Christian.I do beleive theirs a God and i do beleive the post you shared about the comment someone left you about reincarnation. It all sounded so true about her heart.
Kristine i cant even begin to say i know how you feel but i do know it has to hurt.
This past April,as a matter of fact April 9th 2009 my sister gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Kyle who passed next to her in his sleep 3 weeks later on May 1,2009 due to S.I.D.S, as i said i can never understand the pain you are feeling because i never had a child pass, but i watch my sister still till this day hurt for her baby.He was 3 weeks old when he passed.I watch her in so much pain and it just breaks my heart because so much i want to take the pain from her but i just cant.Just like you she cries and dont know how this could happen.Im not to sure what to say here but i wanted to share with you how she gets through her days, just as i plan to share with her Cora's story and how you save others lifes.
My sister Nikola, she reads and reads everyday about Gods plans for us and what the future holds and why things happen to us.She shares these stories with me and alot of it makes sence. She shares many stories about Jesus(i know of him but never really got into religion)today i do honestly beleive there is a God and i do beleive that one day soon we will all be with our loved ones again in another place where we will feel no pain or hurt.
I wish you luck in your mission to help save lifes and make others aware intill its your time to go be Cora again.Im not trying to push religion things on you because i myself dont really know about it much and is still confused, but i do in my heart beleive we will all re-unite one day soon.
Cora's name didnt come about for no reason,i cant really explain what i mean but i believe theres a story behind the name you choose for her.She is your inspiration to go on and help others.
I hope i havent said anything to affend you and my grammer is terrible i do know. But when i was reading others tweets i came accross a few of yours and i just kept reading and reading about Cora and looking at her facebook pages and the letters and posts, and pictures you shared with us all and i just had to say thanks, you are a strong woman and i hope each day will come easier and easier for you.My heart goes out to you.I cant beleive how people such as yourself and husband are going through such a hurtful time and still keeping out a helping hand to the people of Haiti(sorry about my spelling)you both rock!
thanks for reading,
shannon

Kristine,
I and another Heart mom have started a support group here in the Indianapolis area, Mended Little Hearts. Check out our Blog: Mendedlittlehearts.indy.blogspot
We want to help support families and build awareness like you! We are currently working on putting together a get together sometime in June, email us at mlhindy@gmail.com and we will send you an update on when our meeting will be. Also we are putting together teams in honor and memory of our little ones for the American Heart Association Start! Heart Walk. The walk isn't until September 18th, 2010 which give us plenty of time to bring in donations.
