Too sad?

I know reading Cora's Story can't be easy. Before she died, I probably would have clicked away if I landed on a blog about something this gut wrenching.

Sometimes, I feel guilty for leaving her URL on places not normally geared toward infant loss or congenital heart defect awareness. I try to put myself in the shoes of someone landing on this page from a directory of blogs about being a mom, or a general interest site for women bloggers.

Just one of those thoughts that rattles through my head at 90 miles per minute with about a 100 other things.

If you haven't gathered, I'm a bit of a social media junkie and like many bloggers, like to look at where my readers are coming from and what they're looking at. Mainly out of curiosity. I was on Google Analytics, for non-bloggers, it's a site that tells you information about your web page, and noticed several visitors from a baby forum I'd never heard of. I clicked through to the post, excited that someone shared Cora's story. And, I'm still grateful that someone took the time to do so.

But, the way the post was prefaced made me sad. It said, and I'm going to paraphrase so that I'm not pointing fingers, something along the lines of 'I probably shouldn't be posting this because it's too sad.'

Made me think. What's the line. As a mother, I think ever parent and expecting parent should be aware of Cora's Story.

My most graphic post, about her last night, is the most all-time popular post on this site. I pre-faced it with a warning.

When is sad, too sad?
